2. Information from her obituary follows: "Mrs. Grace Brockman

McAbee, 59, died at a Spartanburg hospital Tuesday after an ill-

ness of five weeks. She was the daughter of the late E.O. and

Jennie [Benlow Bookman]. Mrs. McAbee was an active member

of the Emma Gray Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs Dewey Harralson of Spartanburg,

two half-sisters, Mrs. Louiella Murphy of Long Beach, Calif; Mrs.

Brona Wilder of Spartanburg; a half-brother, Earl Jones of Wood-

ruff; two step-sisters; Mrs. W.T. Davis and Mrs. Clodie Phillips

both of Woodruff; two step-brothers; J.C. Jones of Woodruff and

W.A. Jones of Greenville and three grandchildren......Burial will

be in Bell View Cemetery."
