Daughter Finds Mother Dead in Jordanville - (dateline) Jordanville - Mrs. Mary Alice Wood, 66, was found dead in bed by her daughter Miss Maude Wood, at 6 a.m. yesterday, Coroner James Graves, Herkimer, who was summoned, said death was the result of natural causes. She had suffered from heart disease for the past year.
Miss Wood last saw her mother alive about 10 last night. Death is believed to have occurred about 1 a.m.
Surviving in addition to the daughter, are three sisters, Mrs. Grace Vrooman and Mrs. Bertha Hosford, Litchfield; Miss Pearl Finch, Norwich; three brothers, Herbert Van Vaklenburg, Warren; Harry, Johnstown,and Clyde, Jordanville.
