Myers Gross GEBURT 5 Juli 1912 TOD 14 Juni 2009 (im Alter von 96) BESTATTUNG Greenmount Cemetery York, York County, Pennsylvania, USA GEDENKSTÄTTEN-ID 38399468 Mary Elizabeth (Myers) Gross, 96, entered into rest June 14, 2009 at Brandywine Hall in West Chester. She was the wife of the late Curtis M. Gross. Born on July 5, 1912 she was the daughter of the late J. Luther and Mary Alverta (Gross) Myers. She was a graduate of Ursinus College, where she received departmental honors in French. She was a member of the College Club of York County, the York County Heritage Trust, the Springetts Manor Chapter of Daughters of American Colonists, the Huguenot Society of Pennsylvania, and the York Chapter #169 Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Shiloh Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is survived by a daughter, Maryann Altland and her husband Dennis of West Chester; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Smagala and her husband William of Kennett Square and Douglas Altland of West Chester; and two great-grandchildren, Paige and Nora Smagala. A graveside service will be held at Greenmount Cemetery, 721 Carlisle Avenue, York.
