Beeck, age 76, of 523 Washington St., Mishicot, died Friday evening, February 26, 1993, at Northridge Care Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 1993, at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot. The Rev. David Waege will officiate, with burial in the Mishicot Public Cemetery. She was born August 10, 1916, in the Town of Gibson, daughter of the late William and Ida Guse Blank. She graduated from Mishicot High School in 1933, and also from the Manitowoc County Normal School. She taught in the rural grade schools for eight years. She married Gilbert Beeck on May 23, 1942, at St. Peter Evangelical Church, Mishicot. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1976. She worked at the Mishicot High School cafeteria for nine years, and was a rug weaver for 43 years. She was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, and the Ladies Bible Hour. She was a member of the Mishicot Kempen Staudinger Terens VFW Auxiliary Post 7753. She served on the village of Mishicot Election Board for many years and was a member of the Mishicot Senior Citizens. Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Sheri Beeck, Mishicot; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Robert Wiegert, Judy and Robert Wanish, both of Mishicot; nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and one great grandson. She also made a home for a nephew, Roger Kotarek, since 1969. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, one brother and three sisters. Friends may call at the Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
