She was born May 2, 1901 in Maple Park, the daughter of August and Katherine (Schwartz) Warber. She married Ross Hintzsche on Oct. 9, 1926 in Sycamore. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sycamore. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Elaine) Borland of Sycamore; two brothers, Raymond and Lloyd Warber, both of Geneva; one sister, Mrs. Earl (Sadie) Wiltse of Oak Crest of DeKalb; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Roscoe. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sycamore, with the Rev. Loren R. Krout officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore. I post his obituary here. True Republican, 13 December 1939 Ross Hintzsche, 38 years old, died in Billings hospital, Chicago, Friday night. He had been a patient in the hospital for three weeks. He suffered injuries in an explosion three years ago, and never fully recovered. He was born at Flagg station, Ogle county, April 18, 1901, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hintzsche, who for many years were residents of rural Sycamore. In 1926, he married Miss May E. Warber of Sycamore, and they have spent their entire married life in this city. For 13 years he had been a mechanic In the employ of the California Packing Co., where he proved to be an efficient workman, well liked by his employers and fellow employees. Surviving him are his widow and their one daughter, Elaine Catherine, nine years old, and three brothers, Herman and Louis of rural Sycamore, and John of Kirkland; several nieces and nephews and his stepmother, Mrs. Clara Loptien of Aurora. His parents, a brother and a sister preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Monday from the Kebil home and at 2:30 o'clock from St. John's English Lutheran church, the Rev. H. E. Tessman officiating, with burial in Elmwood cemetery.
