Born Aug. 1, 1965 in Joplin and a lifelong area resident, she was a 1983 graduate of Parkwood High School and attended cosmetology school in Joplin. Currently, she as a bus driver and school attendant at Carl Junction Junior High School. She devoted her life to her children and was a loving, caring and giving person. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. On Sept. 2, 1983 she married Shawn Gray in Joplin. He survives. Additional survivors include a daughter, Laci Gray of the home; a son, Codi Gray of the home; her parents, Roland and Sharon Nausley Wilson of Joplin; her sisters, Kristy Englert of Carl Junction; and a brother, Curtis Wilson of Carl Junction. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Galena, Kan., with Jay. St. Clair, minister officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Parker Mortuary. Friends are contributing to the Gray Family Support Fund established with Community Bank and Trust. 'Ron' Wilson March 23, 1934 - November 22, 2010 JOPLIN, MO - Roland H. "Ron" Wilson, age 76, Joplin, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at Freeman East Hospital after an illness. Ron was born March 23, 1934, in Joplin, to the late Eldo Wilson and Golda Johnson Wilson and had lived in the Joplin area all of his life. He graduated from Pittsburg State Teachers College in 1955, and received a degree in accounting. He worked as an accountant at Rocketdyne; Day and Zimmerman, Parsons; King Press and Missouri Steel. Ron was a lifetime member of the Galena Elks Lodge and was a member of the 300 NASCAR Club at 4th Street Bowl. He was a former member of First Baptist Church, Joplin. He enjoyed going to the local lounges and spending time with his friends. He knew so many people and his friendship will be missed by all that knew him. Ron married Sharon Nausley on Dec. 28, 1955, in Galena, Kan. She survives at the home. Additional survivors include a daughter, Kristy Englert and her husband, Don, Carl Junction; a son, Curtis Wilson and his wife, Angela, Joplin; son-in-law, Shawn Gray; six grandchildren, Shannon Irwin and husband, Billy, Brandee Reed and husband, Scott, Laci Reed and husband, Adam, Dakota Gray, Maci Wilson, Aaron Wilson, Jonathon Davis and Clay Cobble; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Gray in 2003. Ron has been taken for cremation. Memorial services are planned for Friday at 2 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Jay St. Clair, Minister, will officiate. The family will receive friends following the services at the chapel.
