A native of Indiana, Pat resided the majority of her life with her late husband, Samuel Briggs Graham, in Boaz, Alabama, where she was a long-standing member of Whitesboro Baptist Church. Pat was devoted to her family and friends, and was a light to the community. She loved spending her time outside in the garden or in the chicken houses, and if she was not in one of those places, you would likely find her in her favorite chair reading or humming her own tunes in the kitchen. Her greatest joy was to serve and love others in whatever ways she could, including endless birthday cards, holiday treats, teaching Sunday school, and serving in the church nursery. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Schimmel and Erie Louise Schimmel; her siblings, Mary Jane Plank and Amanda Jean Stockberger; her husband, Samuel Briggs Graham; her grandson, Nicholas Dock Graham; and her great-grandson, Carson Ashley Graham. Pat is survived by her children: Tamme Graham, Aaron (Debra) Graham, Dock (Debbie) Graham, Myra (Clark) Astin, Denise (David) Worley, Nathan (Belinda) Graham, and Amy (Ken) Langley; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren plus numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Whitesboro Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Alan Hallmark and Rev. Danny McKinney will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dray Graham, Zack Graham, Carter Astin, Alex Worley, Andrew Graham and Kyle Langley. Visitation will be from 12 until 2 before the service at the church.
