He was born on October 12, 1915 in Lafayette, to the late Lewis M. Sperb and Carrie Sperb. Louis married Frances Mae Mathes on January 22, 1943 in Lafayette. She preceded him in death on October 5, 2010. He worked as a Personal Manager for Fairfield Manufacturing until he retired in 1977. Louis was a member of the Tippecanoe Lodge #492 Merou Grotto. He enjoyed fishing and playing Euchre with his buddies. Surviving is his son, Carl Sperb of Lafayette. Friends will be received at Fisher-Loy Funeral Chapel, Lafayette on Monday April 16, 2012 from 12-2pm. Services will be held at Fisher-Loy Funeral Chapel Monday April 16, 2012 at 2pm with Rev. Ronald Wunsch officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Vale Cemetery, Lafayette. Contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice in loving memory of Louis.
