Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Faith Lutheran Church in Sagerton with Rev. Curtis Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Stamford under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. Anton was born November 20, 1915 in Sagerton to Charlie and Nellie Teichelman. He was a lifetime resident of the Sagerton community, a farmer and carpenter. He married Evelyn Schonerstedt on December 6, 1938 in Sagerton. Anton taught himself to play the fiddle as a teenager and continued to play all of his life. He played in the Sagerton Hee Haw for over 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman with everything from hunting to fishing. He was a very talented craftsman and built many wooden toys. He was a member of the Sagerton Faith Lutheran Church and the Old Glory Sons of Hermann Lodge. He is survived by: 2 daughters, and sons-in-law, Darlene Hold and husband, Winston, of Gilmer, TX, and Marilyn Humphries and husband, Dan ,of Wichita Falls; 2 brothers, Clarence Teichelman and wife, Rachel, of Stamford, Eugene Teichelman and wife, Adelia, of Sagerton; 1 sister, Bernice Lunn of Stamford; 3 grandchildren, Matt Humphreys, Stephen Humphreys and wife, Amber, and Allen Hold and wife, Charlotte; and 1 great granddaughter, Delayna Hold. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and 1 brother, Jessie Teichelman.
