MOSHER, Jean Isabel - It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Isabel Mosher, 86, of Lunenburg and formerly of First Peninsula announces her passing. Surrounded by her family, Jean passed peacefully on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Blue Rocks, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Calpernia “Callie” (Whynacht) TANNER. Jean's life was centered around her family and her home in First Peninsula. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to all who knew and loved her. Her love of life, family and friends were so important to her and she will be missed by so many, including her Harbour View “family”. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg. Jean is survived by her daugh... ters, Marie (John) Reynolds, Conquerall Bank; Sylvia Winters, Garden Lots; Carolyn Bowser, Oyster Pond, Jeddore; Sandy (Kevin) Lohnes, Garden Lots and a son Bernard of Lunenburg; grandchildren, Patricia, Jeannie, Craig, Liza, Katelyn and Jessica and a great grandson, Colin; step-grandson Christopher; step- granddaughter, Nicole; step-great grandchildren, Cody, Tynisha, Braydon; sisters, Edith (Hilton) Croft, First South; Kathleen (Melbourne) Langille, Lunenburg; brother, Darryll (Christine) Tanner, Stonehurst. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Wilbert; grandson, Blaine, son-in-law Wayne Bowser; sister, Arlene and brothers, Howard “Buddie” and David. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg, with visitation Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg, Rev. Laurence and Marion Mawhinney, officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
