The passing occurred on Monday, November 26th, of Wilfred Lindsay Nauss, 27 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred G. Nauss, Mahone Bay, after an illness of more than a year. He was a member of St. James Anglican Choir and also of the A.Y.P.A. and always took an active part in sport, hockey being his main interest. Sympathy is felt for his young wife, Kathleen Begin, of this town, who has been sick several years. Also surviving are his parents; a sister, Marion; and four brothers, Douglas, George, and Rayfield, at home; and Ronald of the C.A. The funeral service was held on Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. G. Arnold of St. James Anglican Church with interment in Park Cemetery. (same paper, same column) The funeral services of the late Wilfred Stanage Lindsay Naas were held on Thursday, November 29th, from St. James Anglican Church at 2:00 p.m., with the rector, Rev. G.F. Arnold, officiating. The hymns sung were "Jesus Shall Reign," "Breath on Me, Breath of God," and "Sun of My Soul" with the choir in attendance. The pall bearers were Ervin Joudrey, Philip Joudrey, Enos Nauss, Douglas Veino, Edward Barnard, and Bradford Lohnes. Interment was in Park Ccemetery. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
