Kreipe, 81, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Paul was born December 25,1927 in Tecumseh the son of Gerald and Grace Bleskie Kreipe. He attended Sacred Heart Grade School and Capital Catholic (Hayden) High School. He served in the Marine Corps for two years and was honorably discharged in 1948. On September 1, 1956 he married Laurine Riedel at Assumption Catholic Church. They have been married for 53 years. Paul graduated from Washburn University in 1981 with a Bachelor's Degree in History. He worked for Marley Company in Kansas City for 30 years and retired from Westar Energy as an Engineering Technician. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Christ the King Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Laurine Kreipe, Topeka; daughter, Lisa Kreipe, Kearney, MO; son, Eric Kreipe (Keli), Elk Grove, CA; son, Karl Kreipe, Berryton; three grandchildren, Lauren, Weston, and Kevin Kreipe, all of Elk Grove, CA; his first cousin, Frank Kreipe (Raquel), Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held Friday, Sept 19, 2009 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5973 SW 25th St. Rosary will be at 6:30p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church or Disabled American Veterans, VA Hospital Bldg #24 Rm 106G, 2200 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66622.
