<p style="text-align: left;" dir="ltr">Lait Albrecht Eckhardt in der Edewechter Chronik von 2005, S. 92, ist Eilert Lübben der erste bekannte Edewechter, der nicht nur Bauer, sondern auch Zimmermann und Schiffbauer war und auch eigene Schiffe geführt hat, lange bevor der Edewechter Schiffsbau an der Vehne seine Blütezeit erlebt hat.</p>
