<p style="text-align: left;" dir="ltr">Er ist der derzeit gesicherte Spitzenahn der Familien „HOBBIE aus Howiek“ und erstmals 1581 genannt im Mannzahlregister von Westerstede, auch noch 1608. Da sich sein Sohn <strong>Oltman HOBBY</strong> nennt, wird er vermutlich -wie oben erläutert – ein nachgeborener Sohn einer der älteren Familien namens „Hobbie“ aus Hollwege, Torsholt oder Apen gewesen sein, was sich wohl nicht mehr sicher belegen lässt.</p> <p style="text-align: left;" dir="ltr">Quelle: Hobbie-Website von Dr. Dierk Hobbie, Königsbronn</p>
