| Er zahlte 1521 dem Kollegialstift zu Oldenburg eine Schuld von 12 Gulden zurück. Nach 1521 liegen für mehrere Jahre keine Urkunden über Specken vor. Dann berichtet Professor Rüthning in seiner Oldenburgischen Geschichte: "Um 1600 saßen auf ihrem Gute zu Specken die adlig Freien Friedrich und Johann Wehlau". Sie gehörten zu den Roßdienstpflichtigen und mußten im Kriege beim Volksaufgebot hoch zu Roß erscheinen. |
