Leta 1808 je postal duhovnik in je kot kaplan služboval v Poljčanah, Laškem, Rogatcu, Kozjem, Braslovčah in v Žalcu. Leta 1825 je postal župnik pri Sv. Frančišku Ksaveriju nad Gornjim gradom, kjer je tudi umrl.
