Oktober 1751 heiratete er in zweiter Ehe Elisabeth Ferg: "Die 9na octobris in facie Ecclesiae Copulati sunt Joes Georgius Walter viduus et Maria Elisabetha Fergin ex loco praesentibus testibus Johann Georg Hertel und Johann Georg Förg (sic!)." Aus dieser zweiten Ehe gingen dem OFB zufolge zwischen 1753 und 1766 sechs Kinder hervor.

Am 29. April 1757 erschien (höchstwahrscheinlich) dieser Johann Georg Walter als Pate bei der Taufe des Johann Georg Ziener, eines Sohnes meiner Vorfahren Georg Peter Ziener und Maria Eva Walter. Der Pate war dann der Schwiegersohn des Großonkels des Vaters des Täuflings.
