Angeblich hat Johann Nikolaus Falter am 15. Februar 1730 Eva, die Witwe des Nikolaus Dörsam, geheira- tet. Sie war zehn Jahre älter als sein Vater! Es muss sich um einen Irrtum im OFB USW handeln, zumal Eva im Sterberegistereintrag als Witwe desNikolaus Dörsam bezeichnet wird. "Inthronizati in Abtsteinach honestus adolescens Joannes Nicolaus Falder (sic), Petri Falter et Annae Barbarae conjugum et Incolarum in Kleinbreitenbach legitimus filius, et virtuosa Eva Dörsamin, Nicolai Dörsamquondam incolae in Gadern, relicta vidua. Testes adfuerunt ex jure requisitus (?). Notandum [...] obtinuerunt dispensationem in 3tio gradu consanguinitatis aequali a Dno Vicario Generali Moguntino."
