Evelyn L. BRINKMAN

Evelyn L. Brammeier was born on February 23, 1918, in Unadilla, Nebraska to Dick & Francis (Page) Brinkman. She passed away on Sunday, August12, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the ageof 94 years, 5 months, and 20 days.

Evelyn married Lorenz A. Brammeier on April 21, 1941 in Syracuse, Nebraska and together they raised 2 daughters, Janis & Kathi. Evelyn workedas a Cosmetologist and then she worked as an Owner/Operator of a meat locker in Cook, Nebraska for 30+ years with Lorenz.

Evelyn was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Osage). Sheloved quilting, bowling, square dancing and many different types of crafts.

Evelyn is survived by Daughters: Janis Brandt and husband John of Syracuse, NE; Kathi Saathoff and husband Dennis of Adams, NE; 5 Grandchildren: Jen Davis & husband Mike of Norwalk, IA; Jason Brandt & wife Raela of Fairbury, NE; Lisa Otto & husband Dean of Adams, NE; Kim Otto & husband Brian of Cortland, NE; Ryan Saathoff of Adams, NE; 9 Great Grandchildren; Sister-in-law: Verna Brinkman of Cook, NE; Brother-in-law: Laurence Royal of Unadilla, NE, Also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brothers: Edwin Brinkman & Dick Brinkman, Sister: Ellen Royal.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Osage) in rural Cook, NE.

Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. in Syracuse, NE.

Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2012 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Osage)or to the Good Samaritan Society in Syracuse, NE.
