Dietrich Fastenau Dead
Commisioner Henry Fastenau last evening received word of the death of his uncle Dietrich Fastenau, who died at his home one mile west of Berlin (Nebraska, renamed Otoe in 1917) Sunday morning. Mr. Fastenau was 80years of age and the cause of his death was old age. He came to this country in 1872, lived on rented land for a time and then purchased the farm, where he has since lived. He leaves four sons and three daughters,all of whom are married. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at10 o'clock from the family residence. The services will be conducted by the pastor of the Lutheran church and the internment will be in the North Branch cemetery.
