Colleen earned a Bachelor's Degree of Education from the University of Oklahoma. While at the Universality of Oklahoma, Colleen embarked upon a multitude of adventures, including marrying her devoted and loving husband of 57 years, Dow McCarty with whom she raised 3 sons, Dow Greg, Mike and Kevin. Dow and Colleen's great adventures were traveling to Alaska on a motorcycle, touring the U.S. in their RV, and traveling to China to observe the Three Gorges Dam. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents and sister Jeanie. Colleen will always live in the hearts of her husband, sons, daughters-in-law, Darenda and Carrie, her grandchildren, Melissa, Kyle, and Katie; and her nephews, Brett and Brian Kilpatrick.
