Notes for this person
Theodore Roosevelt Rosier was born in Blue Creek, Wash., to Charles and Ottillea Rosier, the sixth of seven children. Ted never married and spent his entire life as a logger and farmer, first in Blue Creek and later in Spokane. He spent the last decade of his life in Tigard, sharing a home with his youngest sister, Millie Davis Smith, making bird houses and antler-handled knives. Ted died peacefully on Nov. 29, 2013, and will be laid to rest in a private service in Mountainside Cemetery in Scholls. He will be remembered fondly by his sister, nieces and nephews for his craftsmanship and good humor. Published in The Oregonian on Dec. 3, 2013
