Born in western Saline county, MO she lived in Marshall, MO; Valdosta, GA; in Illinois and in Nebraska. She died in Marshall, MO age 92. She graduated from Missouri Valley College in Marshall and received a bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a master's degree from the University of Denver. Miss Zahn returned to Marshall in 1968 and was a librarian at Missouri Valley College for 20 years, retiring as head librarian. She was a member of Delta Zeta sorority and of First United Methodist church of Marshall. Survivors include a brother, Virgil Zahn of Marshall and several nephews.
