George Abraham SCHUMBERGER

George A. Shumberger, 93 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016. He was born in Enola, Pennsylvania and moved to Kissimmee in 2013 from Whitehall, Pennsylvania. George was a graduate of Enola High School and a 1954 graduate of Penn State University. He was a retired computer programmer, a member of the V.F.W., American Legion Post 0367, Jordan-Martin Masonic Lodge F& AM lodge 673, Good Samaritan Village Veterans Association, Jordan Arch Chapter 203, Allentown, PA, Allen Council #23 R&S.M.M, Allentown, PA, Allen Beauceant Commandery #20 Knights Templar, Allentown, PA, The Exchange Club, Whitehall, PA, Trinity Lutheran Church, Kissimmee, Florida, a member of the Hill Toppers and the New Life Group. He was previously a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall, PA, where he was a choir member and on the Church Council. George was a Veteran of the United States Army serving his country faithfully and with honor during World War II. George is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Mary Jane Shumberger of Kissimmee, Florida; son: Kurt A. Shumberger and his wife Linda of Center Valley, Pennsylvania; one grandson: Kurt Erich George Shumberger of Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
