Dianna METZ

Reading Eagle, 27 Dec 1937. Hamburg, Dec 27----Dianna (Metz), widow of Fred R. Heckman, died yesterday at her home, 216 North Third street, this borough, aged 71 years. She was a member of the Reformed congregation of Zion's (Blue Mountain) Church, Strausstown, Charity Temple, 88, Ladies of the Golden Eagle, this borough, Leesport Council, 10, Royal Americans, the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Union Fire Company, this borough, the Clementine Rebekah Lodge, 571, I.O.O.F., this borough, and was a daughter of the late Levi and Caroline (Yerger) Metz. Surviving are two sons, Louis L., and Harvey C. Heckman, both of this borough, and a brother, Emanuel, also of this borough. Funeral services Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the home, the Rev. Frank W. Ruth and the Rev. Dr. Dallas R. Krebs officiating. Interment in St John's Cemetery, Hamburg. Funeral Directors D.A. Burkey & Sons, this borough, have charge.
