Lee W. TAYLOR

Mr. Lee W. Taylor, age 84, passed away in his residence at Canton, MO on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Lee was born July 13, 1937, in Canton, MO a son of Lee W. (Tobe) and Ethel Guesman Taylor. He married Lois Kay Hickman in Shelbina, MO on December 18, 1965. She passed away January 16, 2019. He was a member of the Canton Christian Church. Lee was a farmer and enjoyed his livestock. He liked talking shop, sitting on his front deck and visiting with friends and family. He loved watching basketball and football, watching the kids play and pizza parties with the grandkids. He also enjoyed gardening. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division. Survivors include a daughter, two sons, a sister, a brother, several grandchildren, and several nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois, and sister, Jane. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home in Canton, MO with Pastor Amanda Gosik officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Forest Grove Cemetery in Canton. Visitation will be Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton. The family suggests memorials be made to the Canton Christian Church.
