William Henry HICKMAN

William H. Hickman, 61, 8101 New Jersey, died today at the Research Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. Born in Shelby County, Mo., he was a resident of Kansas City, Kan., 42 years. Mr. Hickman was office manager of engineering and research at the Panhandle and Eastern Pipeline Co., Kansas City, Mo., where he had worked since 1947. He was a member of the First Pilgrim Congregational Church. Mr. Hickman also was a member of the American Society for Metal, and during World War II, he was a purchasing agent for the North American Aviation Co., of Kansas City, Kan. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Roemilda M. Hickman, of the home; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Patricia Jenskyi [sic], York, Pa., and Mrs. Valorie Macgregor, 1842 N. 85th; a stepson, William L. Schroeder, La Crosse, Wis.; his mother, Mrs. Emma Hickman, Shelbina, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Vera Salyer, Dallas, Tex.; one brother, Lee Hickman, Leonard, Mo., and 11 grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Fulton-Nickel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel.
