Obituary Marion C. Roser, 56, of 528 E. Franklin St., died Saturday at his home. Born in Hagerstown, he was the son of Milton and Margie Taylor Roser. He was a member of the William D. Byron Post 1936, VFW and was a disabled World War II veteran. Besides his wife, Mildred Bradley Roser, he is survived by one daughter, Miss Roxanne Roser, at home; one step-daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Peterson of Baltimore; two sons, Thomas C. Roser of Hagerstown and Richard L. Roser at home; one step-son, John B. Cook of Hagerstown; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Beard, Mrs. Vernie Wilson and Mrs. Freeda Long, all of Hagerstown; one brother, Royer Roser, of Thurmont; and three grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Rouzer-Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Birx will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9. Military graveside rites will be provided by the Morris Frock Post No. 42, American Legion.
