OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) Katherine E. "Kate" Clupper, 88, formerly of rural Wabash, IN died Monday, April 9, 2007 at 5:30am at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born May 26, 1918 in Wabash, Indiana to Phillip and Emma (Stouffer) Roser. She married Kenneth D. Clupper in Wabash on March 29, 1938; he died March 31, 1995. Katherine worked 25 years at Wabash Magnetics. She was a member of Somerset Christian Church and attended the Wabash Friends Church. Katherine lived the past three years at Rolling Meadows in Lafontaine. She is survived by a son, Keith (Rhonda) Clupper of Wabash, IN; six grandchildren, Michele Clupper of Greenwood, IN, Keith "K.J." Clupper, Jr. of Wabash, IN, Kyle Clupper of Mena, AR, Melissa LeMay, Ashley LeMay, and Kevin Clupper, all of Wabash, IN; great-grandchild, Kolton Sollars of Wabash, IN.; ten sisters, Martha Shaffer of Urbana, IN, Betty (Bob) McKillip of Wabash, IN, Phoebe (Leon) Ridenour of Roann, IN, Lois Fleshood of Sweetser, IN, Helen (Lloyd) Hoppes, Peggy Riggs, Mary Alice (Fred) Reed, Marcella (Tom) Houlihan, Shirley (Harold) Atkinson, and Carolyn (Don) Everest, all of Wabash, IN; two brothers, Don (Lois) Roser, and Bobby (Marjorie) Roser, both of Wabash, IN; She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave. Wabash on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 2:00pm with David Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana. Friends may call 3-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Preferred memorial is Rolling Meadows Activities Department, Lafontaine or Wabash Friends Church.
