Philip H. ROSER

Journal Gazette, The (Fort Wayne, IN) - November 3, 2000 PHILIP H. "DAN" ROSER JR., 76, died Wednesday at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Wabash County, he retired in 1989 as a farmer and worked part time at the Super Wash Car Wash in North Manchester. Surviving are his wife, Betty; a son, Mark E. of North Manchester; two daughters, Julie J. Allen of Ossian and Beth A. Blatz of Wabash; three brothers, Verne and Donald, both of Wabash, and Robert of Roann; 11 sisters, Martha Shaffer of Urbana, Katherine Clupper, Betty McKillip, Helen Hoppes, Mary Alice Reed, Marcella Houlihan and Shirley Atkinson, all of Wabash, Lois Fleshood of Cincinnati, Phoebe Ridenour of Roann, Peggy Riggs of Greentown and Carolyn Everest of Marion; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at North Manchester First Brethren Church. Calling from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, North Manchester. Burial in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester. Memorials to Springside Life Care Center at the Wabash County Hospital.
