Gordon D. Snyder, 91, Urbana, died at 9:50 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 1991, at Millers Merry Manor East, Wabash. Mr. Snyder was born Feb. 27, 1900, in Miami County, the son of William and Luzetta Draper Snyder. He married Juanita Roser on Aug. 27, 1921. She died April 10, 1970. Mr. Snyder lived in Urbana recently and had lived most of his life in Wabash County. He was a farmer and at one time worked for the Indiana State Highway and area sale barns. Survivors include a daughter, Wilma Knee, Urbana; a son, Max Snyder, Lagro; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Wendell Snyder; six sisters; four brothers; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 1991, at Grandstaff-Hentgen-Miner Funeral Home. The Rev. George Hapner will officiate and burial will follow in the Bond Cemetery, Amboy.
