Daniel M. Roser, husband of Mrs. Mary E. Carr Roser, died at the York Hospital where he had been a patient for about one week, on Thursday morning Feb 5 1953. Death followed a two year illness and came at age 90-0-2. Mr. Roser was a member of Trinity Church, having united there in Jan. 1924, by Letter of Transfer. At the time of his death Mr. Roser was the oldest member of Trinity and also the oldest member of the parish. Surviving besides his wife are three children: Mrs. Paul Dopp, Wilmington, Del.; Mrs. Wilford Shaffer, Hanover Junction; and Oscar Roser, York RD 6; a brother William Roser, York; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and eight step-children. Funeral services were held from the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, on Sunday afternoon Feb. 8, 1953. Burial was made in the Glen Rock Lutheran Cemetery.
