Notes for this person

C. Paul Myers, 94. Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, veteran, and friend to many, passed away peacefully at his home in Las Vegas. A Lancaster, PA. native, Paul will be forever remembered for his unwavering generosity to his family and community; his infectious laugh, sense of humor and remarkable wit; and his passion for storytelling and sharing memories with his loved ones. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Paul, Sr. and Lillian Myers; former wife Patricia Myers; and son G. Daniel Myers. He is survived by his sister, Suzanne M. Kohler; children, Deborah Myers, Christian P. Myers, Jr. (Dena), Linda M. Miller, and Jeffrey P. Myers (Ellen); twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; along with long-term partner Valerie Guillory and her two children, Cindy and Mark. He attended East Hempfield High School and later graduated from Franklin and Marshall where he was part of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. After obtaining his economics degree, he later served in the Korean War as part of the U.S. Army's Intelligence Unit. A family man and dedicated businessman, Paul maintained an active role within Lancaster's business community serving as President of K-D Tools and he served as a board member with Kunzler & Company. He would often remark that his greatest joy and achievement in life was the enthusiasm he had for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and the cherished time he spent with family. Outside of treasured time with family, Paul had many hobbies including being a pilot, golfing, watching football, traveling, reading and keeping up with the latest investment trends. He also had a passion for philanthropic efforts including his board member participation with the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic and the Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster. Later in life, Paul relocated to Las Vegas where he continued his enjoyment of golf, spending time with family and friends, and sharing wisdom and stories with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren for them to forever carry and pass along for future generations. A celebration of life will be held with Paul's immediate family at a later date to commemorate his incredible legacy. LNP Media Group, Inc. 16 Nov 2023
