Obituary: CLYDE CIRCLE Funeral services for Cyde Circle, 73, longtime Ellensburg resident and retired railroad man, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Evenson Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Silas Erickson will officiate. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery. Mr. Circle died Monday in Roslyn-Cle Elum Hospital. He recently moved to Cle Elum after residing in the Ellensburg area for 50 years. Born June 19, 1894, in Rich Hill, Mo., Mr. Circle came to the Kittitas Valley from Missouri in 197. He was a World War I Army veteran and longtime employee of the Northern Pacific Railway. Following his retirement from the railroad in 1943, he worked on various ranches in the Valley. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ada L. Perry, and brother, Marion Circle, both of Ellensburg. [Ellensburg Daily Record, Ellensburg, Wash., Thurs., April 25, 1968, page 3]
