Dale Rusesell ZIRKLE

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS — Dale "Bert" Russell Zirkle, 54, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at his home, 26336 Millers Station Road, Cambridge Springs. Born on April 19, 1964, in Meadville, Dale was a son of the late Robert Brenice Zirkle and Elaine Mott Zirkle. Dale served in the U.S. Army after graduating from Cambridge Springs High School in 1981. Following his discharge, Dale worked for several different employers including Eugene Troyer Apartments in Cambridge Springs, McDonald's in Edinboro and John Woodward Construction in Venango. He also helped others doing odd jobs and yard work. He was a member of Helping Hands in Cambridge Springs and enjoyed hunting. Family members surviving Dale include two sisters, Delores Davis and her husband, Ron, of Cambridge Springs, and Donna Davis and her husband, Jim, of Meadville; two brothers, Dave Zirkle of Tennessee, and Darryl Zirkle and his wife, Becky, of Cambridge Springs. Also many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews survive. Dale was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a brother, Danny Robert Zirkle; and a niece, Tawna Davis. Friends may call at Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Thursday from 2 until 5 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 5 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. James Callender, pastor of First Church of God, officiating. Interment will take place in Millers Station Cemetery on Friday at 10 a.m.
