Tomblyn Funeral Home - October 26, 2015: Glenda Zirkle, age 57 years, a resident of Mabie, WV passed away Friday evening, October 23, 2015 at her home. She was born January 30, 1958 at Normantown, WV, a daughter of Betty Lorraine Sprouse Jenkins, who survives at Glenville, WV and the late Glenn Wilson Jenkins. On May 7, 1977 at Glenville, WV she was married to Doran Lynn Zirkle, who survives at Mabie. Also surviving are four daughters, Crystal Zirkle of Mabie, Maggie McDaniel and husband Rodney of Martinsburg, WV, Holly Johnson and husband Jesse of Niles, OH and Tracy Kovalak and husband David of Warren, OH. Two brothers, Lewis Jenkins and wife Becky of Washington, NC, Leonard Jenkins and wife Tammy of Glenville, WV and four sisters, Jo Lorraine Rowe and husband Don of Charleston, WV, Denise Sprouse and husband Rick and Angela Yost and husband Calvin, all of Glenville, WV and Caren Jenkins of Leon, WV also survive. One granddaughter, Whitney Bates of Niles, OH and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, which she loved as her own also survive. In addition to her father, preceding her in death was one brother, Kennard Jenkins and her mother and father-in-law, Russell and Iris Zirkle. Glenda was a homemaker and loved to fish, play cards and board games, and liked to go to town to be with lots of people. She also loved spending time with family and especially her granddaughter. She was a member of the Upper Steer Run Baptist Church. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Harrison Community Church, Mabie, WV. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday from the church with Rev. Roger Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at the Rowan Memorial Cemetery at Mabie. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of, Doran Zirkle, 18 Roaring Creek Drive, Mabie, WV 26278 in memory of Glenda.
