Horace Hoffman RUSSELL

Horace Hoffman Russell, 87 of Warrenton, VA passed away on Nov. 5, 2017 at Fauquier Hospital. He was born on August 4, 1930 at Orlean, VA a son of the late John Garland Russell and Mary Jeffries Russell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anne Russell. Mr. Russell was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Warrenton Training Center and was a member of the Cochran Masonic Lodge #271, The Plains. He is survived by his children, Mary Beth Russell of Nashville, TN and Rick Russell of Alexandria, VA; two sisters, Juanita Russell of Warrenton and Emily Mae Colvin of Georgia; one brother, Harry Russell, Warrenton. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 7-9 PM at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton where funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Orlean Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060.
