Meade Austin BARACKMAN

Meade Austin Barackman, 93 years old, of Pascagoula, MS, entered eternal life Thursday, March 12, 2009, in Pascagoula's Singing River Hospital. Meade was born on January 29, 1916, in Pennsylvania, to the late Ralph and Mamie Barackman. He was retired from sales; was a veteran of The United States Coast Guard; and a resident of the Gulf Coast for three years, moving here from Arlington, VA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives, Faye and Ethel; sister Altha; and two brothers Merle and Roy. He is survived by two nephews Merle (Lisabeth Lou) Barackman, of Pascagoula, MS; and Robert Barackman, of Pennsylvania. Two great-nieces, Brook (Daryll) Fairchild, of Mobile, AL; and Kendall (Mike) Carre, of Orange County, CA. Two great-nephews, Mark (Teresa) Barackman, of Irvington, AL; and Brock Barackman, of Birmingham, AL. Three great-great-nephews, "Little Mark" of Irvington; Brooks Fairchild, of Mobile; and Nicholas Carre, of Orange County, CA. One great-great-great-nephew, Nathan Barackman, of Irvington, AL. Other relatives and many friends. Meade will be privately inurned at The National Memorial Park in Falls Church, VA at a later date.
