Daughter of William Clyde and Thelma K 'Prosser' Zirkle. She was a 1942 graduate of Chillicothe High School. On August 25, 1946 she married Earl Vincent Moore in Chillicothe. He died on October 4, 1998. They had two sons, Jim and David. On April 11, 2009 she married Keith Duane Beardmore in Chillicothe. He died on July 6, 2012. She and Vince owned and operated Moore Monument Co. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and served on the Edgewood Cemetery board. She was a Boy Scout mother and supported her husband's long involvement in scouting. She was blessed with 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.~Mildred J. Moore Beardmore, age 89, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014, at St. Luke's Northland, Kansas City, Missouri. Mildred was born the daughter of William E. and Thelma R. (Prosser) Zirkle on January 24, 1925, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1942 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to E. Vincent Moore on August 25, 1946 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 4, 1998. She was then united in marriage to Keith Duane Beardmore on April 11, 2009, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2012. Mildred owned and operated Moore Monument with her husband E. Vincent Moore. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, an active member of the Dorcus Lydia Circle United Methodist Women, and was a member of the Edgewood Cemetery Board for many years. Mildred was a Scout Mother and was a huge supporter of her husband E. Vincent Moore and his involvement in Boy Scouts. Survivors include two sons Jim Moore of Columbia, Missouri, and David Moore and special friend Deborah Walker of Chillicothe, Missouri; two step-children Douglas Beardmore of Independence and Charmaine (Char) Kaye Merrifield and husband Ed of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren Kevin and Amy Moore of Cameron, Missouri, Matt and Traci Moore of Omaha, Nebraska, and Ami K. Moore of Goose Creek, South Carolina; and six great-grandchildren, Zachary and Jake Moore of Camreon, Missouri, Evie, David, Gregory Moore of Omaha, Nebraska, and Devon Moore or Goose Creek, South Carolina. Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 28, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 28, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. and also at the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 28, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
