Mary Winifried RIX

Bluffton, Indiana News Banner Wednesday, February 15, 1995 - P3C1: Mrs. Mary W. Zirkle, 81, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday at Chalet Village where she had resided since 1991. Born April 6, 1913 in Jay County, she was a daughter of Mose[sic - Moses] and Clara B. Evilsizer Rix. Her marriage was to George E. Zirkle, who died in July 1977. Mrs. Zirkle was a member of Eastern Star and the Elkhart Central Christian Church and had formerly been a member of the First Church of Christ while residing in Bluffton. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David (Jean) Noll of rural Geneva; two sons, William D. Zirkle of Orlando, Fla., and Keith Zirkle of Elkhart; a brother, Marshall "Sam" Rix of Bluffton; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home in Berne, where rites will be officiated by Larry Sprinkle at 10 a.m. Graveside rites with Rev. Charles Taylor will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart. Memorials to the Elkhart Central Christian Church.
