Margaret E. Nuzum, 93 of Saltwell Rd, passed away Thursday January 3, 2013 at United Hospital Center. She was born in Lumberport WV on June 22, 1919, the daughter of the late Luther and Iclet Pearl Rogers Zirkle. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Nuzum after 49 years of marriage. She is survived by one daughter: Joyce Ladanye husband Steve of Saltwell Rd. three grandsons; Brian Ladanye wife Danita of Adamsville; Donald Lee Nuzum wife Debra of Summerville SC; Stanley Nuzum wife Lisa of Mt. Pleasant SC; two granddaughters: Kristine Valenti husband Carl of Margate FL; Heather Roberts husband Patrick of Camden SC: eleven great grandchildren; Michael; Catherine; Rachael ,Erich Nuzum; Sophia; Noah; Nate Roberts; Elissa Boone; Brandon and wife Amanda; Rachel, Jonathan Ladanye; one great great grandson; Ryan Allan Boone II and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by second husband Tom Johnson one son Donald Nuzum and one daughter in law Jean Lee Nuzum; four brothers Burman, Stanley, Coy, Joe Zirkle; six sisters Winona Martin; Virginia Winland; Phyllis Pigott; Otovea Harbert; Georgia Zirkle; Clacie Zirkle. Margaret worked as a Presser for the Toggery she was a member of Moose Chapter number 669, loved to bowl and square dance, she attended CCC reunions, she was known as Aunt Marg and Peg to her family and protestant by faith. Family and friends will be received at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston Sunday, January 6 2013 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, where services will be held at 11:00am Monday January 7, 2013 with Pastor George Heitman officiating. Interment will follow in the Saltwell Road Church Cemetery.
