Betty Louise ZIRKLE

Tomblyn Funeral Home - August 29, 2016: Betty L. Sturdivant, age 82 years, a resident of Mabie, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at her home. She was born April 10, 1934 at Mabie, a daughter of the late Daniel Boone and Emily Shreve Zirkle. On June 27, 1986 she was married to Jack E. Sturdivant who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Sonya Pastine Wegman of Mabie and Vicki Pastine Shreve of Adolph; five grandchildren, Shaun Marstiller, Stephen Shrader, Brandi McCauley, Jessica Wegman and Nicole Wegman Ross; eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Four brothers, Lloyd Zirkle of Medina, OH, Raymond Zirkle of Las Vegas, NV, Junior Zirkle of Buckhannon and James Zirkle of Mabie; three sisters, Bertie Stone of Newburg, WV, Artie Shiflett of Elkins and Emogene Simmons of Elyria, OH also survive. Also preceding her in death were her former husband, Richard M. Pastine; two brothers, Andrew Zirkle and Daniel Zirkle and two sisters, Edith Zirkle and Nellie Carver. Betty was a housekeeper and a member of the Faith Fellowship Baptist Church at Coalton. Friends may call from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 31st, from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stella Faye Moyer officiating. Interment will follow in the Rowan Memorial Cemetery at Mabie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Northern Regional Office, 1299 Pineview Drive, Suite #3, Morgantown, WV 26505 or to Hospice Care Corporation, P. O.
