LEROY BLACK JR., 76, of Fort Wayne died Wednesday in St. Joseph Medical Center. The Fairmount, Ill., native was a veteran of World War II, retired in 1971 as a salesman for General Tire Co. after 20 years and was a volunteer at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie L.; daughters, Pamela Buechel of Fort Wayne, Deborah Jones of Cicero and Patricia Cable of Indianapolis; son, Steven of Fort Wayne; sisters, Aileen Beckham of Vancouver, Wash., Hazel Hunt of St. Louis, Rose Miller of Davenport, Fla., and Martha Sales and Lorraine Sebok, both of Decatur, Ill.; brother, James of Mount Zion, Ill.; and eight grandchildren. Services are 2 p.m. tomorrow in D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
