GRAND DUCAL BADEN REGIONAL OFFICE PHILIPPSBURG Administration Affairs Place: Kronau Heading: Departure Letter H Regarding the emigration of the Widow Sebastian Hess to America Year 1853 G.L.A. 344, Number 831 Philippsburg the 22nd August 1853 before the Grand Ducal Regional Office There appears the Widow Sebastian Hess, nee Katharina Kehrer, from Kronau, 41 years old, mother of the children Augustin 20 years, Franziska 15 years, Theresia 12 years, Peter 10 years old, in possession of 800 Fl consideration. She explains: I want to emigrate with my children to America. I request state permission and issuance of passes.
