Johannes Oldendor p mit Namen, stand zuerst als Schulmeister in Bickenbach, dann bis 1600 als Schulmeister in Stockstadt, 1600-1611 als Pfarrer in Wersau, 1611 - 1635 (f) als Pfarrer in Nieder-Modau. ------------------- JOHANNES OLDENDORP-was born at Leeheim in 1575, son of Johannes. He matriculated at Wittenberg University in 1594. He was a schoolmaster at Bickenbach until 1598; schoolmaster at Stockstadt from 1598 to 1600; minister at Wersau from 1600 to 1611; and minister at Nieder-Modau from 1611 to 1635. In 1635, he fled to Lichtenberg, to avoid the Plague. The epidemic reached Lichtenberg, however, and he died there, in the castle, in 1635. His wife, FELICITAS BRANDENBERGER, survived, and lived until 1653. Their children were Konrad and MICHAEL. Q: Ralph Kleymeyer
