Vor den 1870er Jahren betrieb Bonaventura König mit Karl Stiefenhofer in Lindenberg ein Käsegeschäft. Nach dessen Auflösung wanderte er mit seiner Familie nach Ostpreussen aus und wurde auf einem Herrschaftsgut Käser. Seine Frau mit den Kindern zognach einigen Jahren aus Heimweh wieder nach Lindenberg zu ihrem Vater. Bonaventura König wanderte dann nach Amerika aus. Er starb in einem Hospital in Chicago, nachdem er sich durch einen Sturz schwer verletzt hatte.
