n German history, between 1848 to 1850, a revolution was taking place, which resulted in an increase in German immigration to America. His ultimate destination was Washington, District of Columbia where he eventually married Jeannette Tone, (1856) and fathered Frederick William WATERHOLTER, (1857) and Emma WATERHOLTER, (1862).
