(Translated by Reinholdt Reschke, grandson of Adolf Reschke from the orginal German document) "I returned home from school in 1890 my father had been buried 3 days before...... Similarly, late in the fall I traveed to Luzk for the drawing to military service. Our first born Emily was one month old when I left. When I returned she had been buried. An attack of convulsions had ended her life suddenly. This happened in Janowitz-Kulin, my first teaching position." |
