Notes for this person

Per Kuske: Georg Heinrich Friedrich also went to Wilhelmshafen and opened an inn. He married, but this union remained without children. At some time or other a baby was laid before his door. (The family explained that Georg was a charmer {womanizer} and the baby resulted from an affair that he’d had.)

The child was a boy and he was allowed to stay with Georg and his wife. The inn went well and they did a lucrative business. Often his mother came from Celle and helped them out. The ‘found at the door’ child eventually grew up and he played in the casinos or spent his money on women who could be had for a price.

Georg was thus soon bankrupted! He committed suicide by shooting himself with a pistol.
