From the Appleton Post-Crescent, Friday, May 7, 1954:

Mrs. Louise Miller, 75, Hortonville, died at 12:50 this morning in New London after a lingering illness. She was born Sept. 10, 1878 in Dale.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Hortonville, with burial in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Sunday evening at the Bodchardt and Moder Funeral home, Hortonville. Friends may call at the funeral home all day Sunday.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. William Daufen, Oshkosh, two sons, Lyman, Neenah, and Matthew, Waupaca; three brothers, Otto Dorschner, New London, Leonard Dorschnerf, Dale, and Theodore Dorschner, Zittau; three sisters, Mrs. Matt Nesbit, New London, Mrs. Henry Houk and Mrs. Victor Rothback, both of Appleton; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
